There is nothing quite like clarity is there?

I love this season that God has me in right now. I absolutely love…

  1. knowing what I am doing,
  2. knowing that I’m operating in my significance, and
  3. knowing that I’m doing what I love, – which in turn makes me love what I do!

I have this amazing clarity….and, what could be better?

Clarity is also the best motivator on the planet.

As a Life Catalyst & Mentor, I want YOU to know what YOU are supposed to be doing. My mission is to help you to find and live with laser clarity. After all, you need it. We all do.Clarity is a divine gift. It’s fuels our hope, expands our vision, and rejuvenates our faith. Clarity is just that critical. Think about it.

Don’t you feel more powerful when you can see clearly? When the clouds disappear, the fog lifts and the path is clear. You gain amazing confidence…or as I always teach, #Godfidence.

However!

Too many are stuck (and stay stuck) because they’ve gotten used to being stuck.

.
We think that life is ‘supposed’ to be hard…that we are ‘supposed’ to struggle, and that we have to go it alone. Women especially suffer from this element of the superwoman syndrome. I completely disagree.
It doesn’t have to be that way.

.
God’s yoke is easy and His burden is light. He sends us opportunities for clarity, guidance and direction EVERY single day. The question is do we seek, see, and seize it.

Very few do. Sure many are called, but few are chosen.

Few choose to answer their call. Few choose to do something about their calling. And, few choose faith over fear. Instead, it’s easier to elevate your fears over your faith.

Faith stretches. Fear shrinks. It easier to shrink than it is stretch….to grow and to advance.

Here is the real culprit…the source of the problem: most accept confusion as their reality because they are too complacent about proactively seeking clarity.

Yup, I said it! And, I mean it. Purpose is not for the lazy. Purpose is pursued, not passive.

When I see the women in my ACCELERATE Platinum Mastermind Program, I see pursuers. Women who have said, I’m not going to wait for clarity….I’m going to GET clarity. What a bold declaration – one that can only be made with action.

The Bible says to seek and ye shall find…you have not because you ASK not. Well A.S.K. is acronym that means – Always Seeking Knowledge.

What inspires me about the women in my mastermind program is how they CHOOSE to show up for themselves. The amount of life-altering breakthroughs that these ladies experienced doesn’t happen to those sitting on the sidelines.


You can watch the victory, or you can get in the game and win the victory.

There is a big difference between watching and winning. I’ve watched other people win, and, it’s nice. But, in this season, God is asking you this:

When are you going to get in position to win?

When are you going to stop playing with your calling and start executing Heaven’s divine play-by-play.

When you get serious, God shows up in a more serious way. God calls all of us, but He gives clarity to the committed. The shift happens at the moment you say yes. He doesn’t waste wisdom. It’s given to those who are committed to work with it and elevate it.

I love making a difference!  Don’t you?

Everyday we have the opportunity to impact and influence.  I am grateful to live a life that enables me to impact and influence others on a daily basis.  But, I’m also grateful for the opportunity to serve.
This past weekend, I spent a half-day with about a dozen teenage girls in Atlanta.  It was a soft-launch and kick-off for my new girls leadership academy called ME University Charm School. (You’ll learn more later!)
Service rejuvenates your spirit and soul like nothing else can.  Spending the day with these girls – my new mentees – really brought me back to my roots!
This year, as I continue to teach and share with you about purpose, leadership, and marketplace readiness, I really sense that God is asking many of us to get back to the basics.  To return to our roots…our first love….our dreams and deepest desires.

It is only then that we are fully operating in a place of peace, prosperity  and joy.  Your calling is about the impact you are pre-designed to have in the world.  
Of course, I teach on branding, leadership and purpose every single day.  The content of what I was sharing at Charm School was not a new thing for me.  But, the CONTEXT was what made the difference – sharing a my expertise in a new way.
Small elevations in your decisions can lead to huge transformations.

You, too, have a special expertise that needs to be shared. You (yes, YOU!) have a powerful story that is waiting to be heard.  It just needs to be launched.

ME with 5 dynamic women for my recent Reinvent ME Live Laser Coaching Intensive & VIP Day in Atlanta. It was amazing!

Whew!  I’m still on a high from the anointed day I had with the five ladies you see in the photo above.  As you may know, my Reinvent ME Live Laser Coaching Intensive and VIP Day is something new that I introduced in 2012.  My objective is to work with a handful of focused and committed women leaders who are ready to go higher in their destiny.  Man – did God ever show up and in a big, big way.
.
I am incredibly proud of these women and what we were able to accomplish. These ladies received clarity, inspiration, and a bonafide blueprint with the steps necessary to take their dreams into the next dimension.  All of that in one dynamic day.
.
It truly was a VIP experience – they received special gifts and VIP treatment, a private lunch and personal attention from Team ME.
.
Now, there are so many people that COULD have had this same experience….so many that SHOULD have been in the room.  However, what can be and what will be is often a product of choice.  Words will never be able to describe the level of transformation, confirmation, and elevation that took place during the first Reinvent ME Live Laser Coaching Intensive.  My life as a messenger will never be the same either.

It really made me think about how important it is to show up for your dreams….to show up for your calling…and to show up in life.  Very few people do.  As my friend Pam Perry says, “those that show up, go up.”

This week’s simple secret to living your purpose is about GIVING YOURSELF PERMISSION.  So often we blame others for the fact that we’re stuck!  But, what if the problem isn’t what someone else is doing to you.  What if the real barrier is that you (even unconsciously) are standing in your own way.

If you are serious about living out your purpose (and I know that you are!), it’s time to GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION.

For this week’s “Simple Secret,” I challenge you to recognize the ways that you might be standing in your own way….
  • You rarely accept compliments
  • You rarely invest in your development and growth
  • You put everyone else first
  • Your dreams have been sitting on the shelf for longer than you can imagine
  • You feel unworthy of focusing on yourself
  • You go out of your way to please others
  • You’ve believed the negative labels that others have placed upon you
  • You’re terrified to take a a big leap

My baby nephew had been showing signs of walking for a couple of months.  Now 11 months old, he’s been teasing us since month 9 or so.  The last night that I was at home with my family for the holidays, he took some major steps multiple times, but was still crawling for the most part.  As we all watched (Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy, Daddy and Auntie), we all knew (and could clearly see) that he could do it.  It was a just a matter of time before he could see the ability for himself and muster the confidence to move forward.

The next day, after I arrived back to my home in Atlanta, my more-than-excited brother called and sent 101 videos of the lil’ tyke walking….not taking baby steps, but darn near jogging! It was incredibly cool to watch.  What a difference a day makes! I mean I just saw the little guy the night before and he was still crawling.

What does that mean?  Well, first it means that life will never be the same for his parents and grandparents!  They are going to need a GPS tracker and a fresh pair of running shoes!  But, life will never be the same for my nephew either. A whole new world has just opened up for him.

Whenever we stand up and finally take a major step…things change.
What does that mean for you?  Well, for starters I hope this story shows you what a difference a day can make in your life.  Too many people give up right before their breakthrough.

You’re closer to the next level, and the next phase of your life than you think.

I’ve been teaching about the importance of having a dream, but having one is not enough.  We all know Martin Luther King had an infamous dream, but he also moved on it. His dream still moves us today.

If you are serious about living out your purpose (and I know that you are!), it’s time to TAKE THE FIRST STEP.

For this week’s “Simple Secret,” I challenge you to do four (4) things…

1) Change Your Self-Perception. You have to begin to see and celebrate all of the possibilities and abilities that you possess.  Your opinion of your readiness is the one that either releases you to move forward, or it holds you back.

2) Surround Yourself with Positive Supporters. Having people around you that support your dreams and goals will help you muster the courage to take the steps necessary to move forward.  You want people who are in your corner and rooting for your success.  (I’m always rooting for you by the way!)

3) Connect with a Coach. Taking a big next step can feel frigthening when you are entering new territory.  However, the process is far easier and far more productive if you have a trusted adviser, guide and mentor that can help you determine what steps to take and how to take them.

4) Choose Faith over Fear. Operating in faith over fear is easier said than done, especially since faith and fear often feel the same.  You get nervous and you don’t really know the outcome.  Fear is letting the opportunities for failure consume you.  Faith is letting the opportunity and promise for victory move you.  Faith moves you forward.  Fear moves you backward.

As we enter the New Year, I started to think about how many “resolutions” are already being broken!
Sure, we have good intentions, especially at the beginning of a new season.  However, real change is about one thing…
CHOICE.

Experiencing true transformation in any area of your life is about the consistency of your choices, not just the sincerity of your intentions.
If you are serious about living out your purpose (and I know that you are!), it’s time to start owning and harnessing the power your choices.

 

For this week’s “Simple Secret,” I challenge you to do three (3) things…

 

1) Choose with Authenticity. Too often we choose to spend our time, treasure, and talent on things do not align with our desires, dreams or destiny.  Time is a gift and it is your most precious commodity.  Use it in a way that moves you forward instead of holds you back.

 

2) Choose with Positivity. Many people would love to have “something” to do…especially in this economy.  So, instead of looking at your tasks this week as burdens that you “have to do,” shift your approach through a filter of gratitude. Choose to say I “get to do” these things.  No matter what challenge you face, you have the opportunity to choose HOW you will face that challenge. Choosing a positive perspective produces more positive outcomes.

 

3) Choose with Responsibility. Children are known for failing to see themselves as responsible for their choices and the consequences of their choices.  Well, 1 Corinthians 13:11, states, “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.  When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.”  In short, avoid the blame game.  Take responsibility for everything and everyone in your life.  Remove what needs to go, and replenish what needs to grow.

 

Choose to…
Separate from Anxiety.
Divorce Your Fears.  Marry Your Future.
Your Choices Cultivate Your Reality.
